How are we feeling after 26.1?? :) Wowzer, that one got our heartrates jacked. Your quads are likely a BIT sore! I've been in Wisconsin Dells this weekend for my daughter's basketball tournament — the stairs to the third floor have been a bit troubling lol. Remember to drink water, eat healthy foods and sleep when you can. Life is busy, we all pushed hard, but let's be ready to get back to work on Monday morning. :) A couple tips as we progress toward workout number 2: If you're training 5 days a week and also doing the Open,

Here we are, the week of the first Open workout! :) 26.1 will be announced Thursday afternoon — we'll be doing the workout during all classes on Friday. Please bring your best energy, a positive, get-to-work attitude, and get ready to cheer people on! Mayhem came out with a great post on setting yourself up for success this week. This week will be a deload week for strength, our lightest week since our last one-rep tests. The CrossFit Open is quickly approaching and we don't want to overreach as we approach the three Open workouts. After the Open is over, we will have a controlled

Congrats to everyone for making it through Christmas week. ;) The stresses that can coincide with the holidays are real — extra time with extended family, hosting family and friends, winter illnesses, gift-giving ... it can add up. Maintaining a few constants in my days always helps me feel grounded, whether it's getting an early workout in or eating a nutritious breakfast. This week between Christmas and New Year's can be an easy place to fall off your routines — pick a couple days this week where you commit to coming to CFD. We have some really fun workouts on
