Week of 12/28/2025

Congrats to everyone for making it through Christmas week. 😉 The stresses that can coincide with the holidays are real — extra time with extended family, hosting family and friends, winter illnesses, gift-giving … it can add up. Maintaining a few constants in my days always helps me feel grounded, whether it’s getting an early workout in or eating a nutritious breakfast. This week between Christmas and New Year’s can be an easy place to fall off your routines — pick a couple days this week where you commit to coming to CFD. We have some really fun workouts on the schedule!

This week Wednesday, we will have a New Year’s Eve workout at 8 a.m. (friends and family are free, as always), and the gym will be closed on Thursday. We’ll be back to our normal schedule on Friday! As we head into January, take some time to think about people you know who might need a “fresh start” in their health and wellness routines. We’re changing lives at CFD — who can we help next? 🙂

Let’s check out this week’s workouts …

**Monday** – Confetti and Fireworks
Engine meets barbell. Rotate between max shuttles and climbing-weight power cleans, holding form as the load and fatigue build.

**Tuesday** – A Champagne Toast
Two-part volume punch: 10 rounds of double unders and push-ups, then 10 rounds of box step-ups and strict pull-ups. Shoulders, calves, and upper body stamina get put on notice.

**Wednesday** – 8 a.m. New Year’s Eve workout! Family and friends are free. Come get a great sweat on before your New Year’s Eve celebrations!

**Thursday** – Gym is closed, Happy New Year! 🙂

**Friday** – Ring in the New Year
15:00 AMRAP of wall walks, GHDs/V-ups, hang DB snatches, and DB step-back lunges. Full-body piece with a heavy shoulder and midline focus to kick off the year.

**Saturday** – Black Eyed Peas (Partner)
You-go-I-go intervals on the bike and DB bench press for six sets each. Quick, punchy efforts with just enough rest to keep the intensity high and the chest and lungs lit up.

We’ll see you in 2026! 🙂
