Week of 4/19/2026

Congrats to those who competed this past weekend at Adventure Await’s Spring Fling in Weston, Wis.! Coach Courtney and her partner, Abi, got 1st place in Women’s Rx! Mari and Heidi got second place in Women’s Rx! Danny and Greg finished 4th in Masters Men, and Zack and his partner got 1st place in Masters Men! What a fun day. 🙂 Congrats to Brett and Megan who have ran marathons that last couple of weekends! You all are a constant source of inspiration.

This week is simple pieces that bite hard once the volume stacks up. Monday opens with HSPU/HSW skill work into a running Cindy-style interval that pounds shoulders, chest and lungs. Tuesday is deadstop deadlifts into a brutal bike + deadlift for-time finisher. Wednesday moves to the snatch + overhead squat complex and a short AMRAP that blends double-unders with light OHS for position under fatigue. Thursday is pure engine and power with a box jumps into max-calorie row intervals. Friday builds barbell cycling with the clean complex into “Classic GWEN,” unbroken touch-and-go clean and jerks. Saturday is the “Mayhem Classic Chipper” in teams of 2 with big box get overs, bike, GHDs, and bar pulling.
