Week of 6/4/2023

It’s the start of summer, CFD! We hope you all are rested and recovered from Murph — once again, we had an amazing turnout for our Memorial Day Hero WOD. We absolutely loved seeing you, your family and your friends push yourselves to a new level of discomfort and come together as a community for this workout. I came across this video about the origin of Murph and found it really interesting, check it out if you have a minute! CrossFit affiliates around the world have been coming TOGETHER since 2005 to do this workout.

With the start of summer, we have some exciting schedule changes to announce! The coaches at CFD are always thinking about how to serve each and every one of our members better. You are at the heart of why we do what we do, and we want to continuously bring value to the best hour of your day. Beginning the week of June 12, we will be adding a Barbell class on Wednesdays at 5:15 a.m., as well as adding a 9 a.m. CrossFit class on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. With those additions, some of the other class times will be shifted, as outlined below. It’s our hope that the extra Barbell class will give more of our members the opportunity to experience Coach Colin diving into olympic weightlifting. If you’ve never attended one of his classes, please do — this class truly is one of the best things we offer at CFD! The addition of the 9 a.m. CrossFit class will offer our members another morning class time option — summer means our days might be a bit more flexible, as we don’t always have to rush our kids off to school. We’ve offered 9 a.m. classes in past summers and it’s always been a hit! It’s also the perfect class time to bring a friend with you (we know you all have friends who are curious about CrossFit). 🙂

Wednesday
CrossFit classes: 4:15 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Barbell class: 5:15 a.m.
CrossFit Kids class: 5:30 p.m.
Open Gym: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday
CrossFit classes: 4:15 a.m., 5:15 a.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.

Friday
CrossFit classes: 4:15 a.m., 5:15 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Saturday
Barbell class: 8 a.m.
CrossFit class: 9 a.m.

Sunday
Open Gym: 8 to 10 a.m.
