Week of 6/18/2023

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads we have at CrossFit Develop! We see the work you put in, both inside and outside the gym. Your kids are lucky to have you — thank you for the example you set!

We saw some pretty tough workouts this past week — how are your bodies feeling? Don’t forget, we’re in this for the long haul! CrossFit is a lifestyle, not just one workout. Take the time to rest and get some extra sleep if you’re feeling worn down. Fuel yourself correctly, get your water in, and add some mobility work. Listen to your body, you’re only given one. 😉 A rest day will help you bring the intensity when you return to the gym, and remember, Intensity Drives Results!

We’ve started our basic kipping gymnastics skill work 1-2 times a week. We also have 1-2 Oly positional days per week this month to get us ready for our Oly cycle coming up in July. These days will be labeled as strength, but loading will stay light to moderate to allow us to focus intently on position.

Coach Colin’s first 5:15 a.m. Barbell class was a hit — remember to use Wodify to reserve your spot. As always, our classes remain capped in order to give our members the best experience possible. If you have any questions about the schedule change, please reach out to Chris or Kelly anytime. 🙂

Here are the lifts of the week:

Monday – Rope climbs

Tuesday – “University of Colorado Shoulders”

Wednesday – Bring your running shoes, yay!

Thursday – METCON

Friday – “Kelly” … Happy 5 Year Anniversary, CFD!!

Saturday – Bench press
