We made it through week 1 of the 2024 CrossFit Open TOGETHER! Friday was a great day to be a part of our CrossFit community. We came together, worked hard, cheered each other on, pushed each other to our limits, and congratulated each other at the end — we’re so thankful for each and every one of you. I personally have seen this gym grow in so many ways through the years — the ways our members come together and support each other through the highs and lows is nothing we take for granted. Thank you for being you and growing with us! Let’s see what week 2 brings. 🙂 (Remember to log your score in the CrossFit Games app by Monday afternoon.)
If you haven’t already, take a moment this week to scroll through some of our social media posts (CrossFit Develop is on Facebook and Instagram). We share lots of good info through our social media, including a series called, “What does a coach eat in a day?” This past week, Coach Courtney shared what a typical day of eating looks like for her, and how she goes about fueling her body. Remember, nutrition is at the base of the CrossFit pyramid, meaning it’s the most important aspect for a strong foundation in fitness and health. You all work way too hard in the gym to let your nutrition slow or stall your progress. 🙂
Coach Chris and Coach Colin are in the middle of completing another On Ramp for several new CFD members — as always, thank you for saying hello and introducing yourself to these new faces. First impressions are everything, and you all have the power to help change someone’s life! Focus on keeping yourself recovered this week, work on your mobility, drink your water, and keep your hands safe! (We just know we’ll see pull-ups or toes to bar in one of these remaining workouts.) 🙂
