Week of 12/6/2020

We begin and end the week with a run in the workout this week!  Please make sure to dress appropriately.  Let’s try to get outdoors if able.  The weather is still looking favorable for running outside but we of course will have an option to stay indoors if you’d like.  Running is so good for us!  Even if it’s not as fun as cycling a heavy barbell.  ? Our goal is to get as much running in as we can despite the winter weather that is inevitably coming.  Let’s have fun with the challenge this week!

On top of the above mentioned this week is de-load week.  We’re removing a little bit of load in our three major lifts to get ready to smash some new PR’s.  Don’t worry thought the workouts will still give you that special kick that we know you love! ? Enjoy!!!

We are very excited to announce that Heidi Kilbourn has decided to join our coaching staff!  Heidi will be helping coach our Develop Barbell classes.  Starting with our newly added Saturday classes!  She was first introduced to Olympic lifting in 2014 when she began CrossFit. Although she still loves the sport of CrossFit, she found a sense of empowerment and dedication to the barbell, which has only grown stronger over the years. We are super excited to have her helping us all out with her experience and love of the sport.  Welcome Heidi!!!

Announcements:

Starting Saturday December 12th Develop Barbell classes will now be offered on Saturday mornings at 8am!  Attendance at either our Monday night or Saturday morning barbell classes is highly encouraged to get a little more barbell technique work in throughout the week.  Come in, warm up, toss some weight around while working on technique, then stay for a great workout afterwards at the 9am WOD!  Barbell classes are included with your Unlimited membership or will be counted against your monthly limit if you have a plan membership.  Any questions… reach out!
