It’s September, CFD! We’re entering a brand new month with lots of exciting changes ahead. The kids are back in school, another fun summer is behind us (I’m personally ready to put this summer in the rear view mirror lol), and we’re all getting back to our routines and schedules. We fully understand how hard it can be to stay in a workout routine as you’re holding onto the last few weeks of summer break with your kids — family comes first. Fall always feels like a fresh start, so let’s get to it. 🙂
The biggest and most important announcement we have this week is we are changing our programming! Beginning Monday, we are moving from NCFit to Mayhem. You may notice our workouts looking a little bit different in Wodify. Chris, Kelly and the coaches have put a lot of thought into what’s best for our community — workouts that challenge us all and move our fitness needle forward, no matter where you’re at in your fitness journey. We wanted programming that challenges our competitive, experienced athletes as well as people fresh out of On Ramp. Chris and Kelly have put hours and hours of work into deciding and fine-tuning what’s best for you all. Please watch Chris’ Facebook Live in our Members group for more details. Any questions, ask a coach anytime. As with any change, there will be bumps along the way, but we’re really excited to see where this programming takes us!
Another change we will see is beginning this week, all 5:30 p.m. classes (Monday through Thursday) will be Open Gym. Our 5:30 p.m. class was not well-attended, so we’re changing it to Open Gym. Use this time to get in a missed workout, work on a new skill, or add a little extra strength or conditioning to your routines.
Join us Monday at 9 a.m. for our Labor Day workout — friends and family are free! This is a great way to wrap up summer.
We have two partner WODs this week … I challenge you to pick a partner you’ve never paired up with! The common theme of this month is change. Challenge yourself to change in some way, shape or form. 🙂

Tuesday: Strict HSPU skill work and “Blizzard” (run, wall walks, box step ups)
Wednesday: Back squat and “Sandstorm” (DUs, TTB, burpee BJO)
Thursday: Power snatch and Partner WOD
Friday: Tribute WOD for Lazar Ðukić
Saturday: Partner WOD with sled pushes!
Sunday: Open Gym
