Thank you to all who joined us on Memorial Day for our annual Hero workout, “Murph.” Whether you did it this weekend, last weekend, at home, at our gym, or at another gym, we are proud of you!! This workout is not an easy one, and we’re so happy you all could do it with friends and family by your sides. Today, we remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Please continue to keep Tony and Chelsie Smidl and their newborn daughter, Willow, in your thoughts and prayers. Willow was born with CDH and is fighting a tough battle with two amazing parents by her side at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. We’re here for you, Smidl family!
CFD members, please join us this Friday evening (May 31) for an Old Fashioned Night gathering at CFD – this is an opportunity to get together with friends and give Coach Zack a hug (or 3) before he and his family move up to northern Wisconsin next month. Please stop by, we’d love to see you all! The get together starts at 5:30 p.m. Sign up sheet is at the gym.

We’re continuing to see new faces in our classes every day at CFD, thank you for making everyone feel so welcome into our community! CFD is what it is because of YOU — you all create the atmosphere and vibe day in and day out, and for this, we can’t thank you enough!
This week Saturday is the beginning of our Mid-Year-Mini-Comp workout series. The MYMC is a 3-week mid-year challenge run by NCFit in the middle of the programming year. This week and next week, athletes will see two past MYMC workouts. The 2024 Mid-Year Challenge workouts will show up on 6/14, 6/21 and 6/28. You will be able to see how you compare to other CrossFit athletes who also do NCFit programming via the NCFit social media pages. If you don’t care how you compare, no worries at all! Just treat these workouts like any other WOD we do. 🙂
