It’s one rep max week! We hope you all are feeling rested, recovered and strong to retest our push jerk (Monday), back squat (Tuesday) and deadlift (Friday). If you’re not quite feeling 100 percent, it’s ok! Never push yourself beyond your personal limit. You can’t force a one rep max, nor should you! This week may be your week or it may not. Either way, lets all get after some great workouts together!
Many of you may have seen our second annual 6 Week Challenge announced on our social media pages. If you know someone who has always been curious about CrossFit or trying out our gym, this challenge is for them! It could be a spouse, friend, neighbor or a family member. Let’s welcome these people into our community with a big smile — you never know whose life you might be changing next. The link to register for the 6 Week Challenge is here: https://crossfitdevelop.wodify.com/OnlineSalesPortal/PurchaseByKeyEntry.aspx?Key=ZnwqetcaIR4fDOQgjZhWGD2vR
You also may have seen some posters up in the gym for our annual Fit for Kids charity WOD. We host this workout in support of the Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center, which is a nonprofit organization that offers comprehensive services to investigate cases of child maltreatment. This organization enables children and their families to heal from abuse, and advocates for safe and secure living environments. We will be doing the workout at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 — please consider signing up for the workout by clicking here.
Good luck this week, CFD! We can’t wait to see some PR bells ring. Stay safe and stay strong!
