This past week, we had a community challenge of “No Complaining.” How did it go, CFD?? Did you find yourselves thinking twice before you complained about work, kids, stresses or the day-to-day grind? Complaining has a negative effect on productivity, morale, engagement and culture. It can be a hard cycle to break, but you’ll feel so much lighter when you focus on positive conversations instead of negative ones! Great work to those who put in a bit of extra effort this week, inside AND outside the gym.
Just as a reminder: Mark your calendars for 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day). CrossFit Develop will be hosting a community-wide workout — CFD members, friends, family and community members are invited to attend! We will be doing the memorial workout “Chad,” which is 1,000 weighted step-ups. This workout is best done TOGETHER, as a community, with friends by your side — it will be free and open to the public (you’ll just need to sign up online). Please have your family and friends use this link to sign up! (click here)
I also wanted to say thank you to those who continue to interact with and share our CrossFit Develop social media posts — it’s amazing to see our posts reaching community members, family and friends! You never know who we might be inspiring to take their first steps toward a healthier lifestyle. 🙂
